As news has spread of the eminent passing of Dr. Ray H. Hughes Sr., I am reminded of his tremendous positive impact on the world as an evangelist and the thousands of people who have accepted Christ as a result of his preaching and ministry. His sermon "Lord, Show Us Thy Glory!" (typical of the Classical Pentecostal-style) has been preached by thousands and continues to inspire us to seek the face of God and be led by Him. Let us pray for him and his family during these final hours of his life this side of Heaven. Soon he will hear the welcome words of God as he enters the joys of eternity and receives a much deserved reward for his dedicated Christian service and witness for almost 70 years.

Dr. Ray H. Hughes Sr. and his family. A man greatly used by God to preach the Gospel, proclaim and enhance the fire of Pentecost, a man of vision, encourager and motivator that others be involved seriously in ministry, a personal friend. 2024-2011.
