Published in 1999, this is a brief history of the former Pickwick Church of God near Cheraw, Mississippi. Organized in 1917, this congregation disbanded in 1925, but a number of faithful members continued to worship together informally in the community and at other local churches. In 1949, the remnant of the former Pickwick Church organized as the Mount Carmel Church of God, which congregation continues as an active local church. This booklet features a brief history and assorted articles and testimonies published in the Church of God Evangel and the local newspaper in Marion County, Mississippi.
