(As president of the Society and moderator of the meeting, I opened the session with a brief address with a few historical vignettes about early women ministers in the Church of God. The theme for the meeting was “Women in Ministry” in the Church of God Movements. This is an ecumenical group with members from the various Pentecostal groups using the name “Church of God” in some form.)
