Hi, Gary. Thanks for commenting.

Unfortunately, it costs too much to publish the book since it is full-color. I only printed 5 copies to distribute to libraries and archives.

But, anyone can print the book from their computer. From the page located on my website:

1) Click on the "Enlarge this document in new window" link below the small image to the right.

2) When the new window opens, locate the icon of the printer in the small black bar at the top of the page. You can only print 15 pages at a time, but you can select the page numbers you wish to print.

I hope this is helpful, and I hope you enjoy the book.

Blessings,
Louis

I found your book while trying to find more information on my Great-Grandfather, Robert C. Price. Your book was a wonderful surprise and something I can show to my son, his namesake. I was a young girl when he passed but his kind heart and love of God left a lifelong impression on me. Thank you for writing this book!

Tara, it is so nice to hear from family of Robert Price. His wife (Ruby) was a Morgan and we are distant relatives. Some grandchildren of Ruby's brother still attend church at Morgantown. I have some other things you might appreciate-- testimonies and updates Robert had published in the Church of God Evangel. I will send them to you. Email me at lmorgan @ leeuniversity (dot) edu. I'm so pleased you are enjoying the book.

Loved the book. - A little additional info on B.L. Roberts (I married into his family) - In the book, it states that J.T. Roberts initiated the tent meeting the became Bailey Ave COG. ---It was actually B.L. Roberts that started that. He also started the COG at Yazoo City.

Hi Brent!
Thanks so much for the comment. I'm pleased you enjoy viewing the book. And, yes, B.L. Roberts certainly was a significant person in the expansion of the Church of God in Mississippi. Concerning the initial tent meeting at Jackson, an article in the Church of God Evangel in October 1943 has a photograph from inside the tent with the following caption:
"We present in picture part of the large congregation attending the tent evangelistic campaign of the National Evangelistic Party at Jackson, Miss. Rev. J.T. Roberts is in charge of the party, assisted by Rev. and Mrs. R.H. Thomas, of Michigan, and Sister Dora Parrish, of Tampa, Florida. The Thomas trio is rendering great service in their songs and music. This is said to be the largest congregation ever gathered for a meeting of this kind in the city of Jackson. The tent is a 60x90 and will seat approximately one thousand. The city is stirred by the gospel preached with the old-time power. They say they like it that way. The enthusiastic manner of conducting the services holds the congregation spellbound for two hours and yet they want more. Pray for success in the meeting and a good church to be established. -- Clyde C. Cox, overseer of Mississippi"
